1. What are the advantages of shoot at a higher ISO at a sporting event like basketball or a night football game?
it is an advantage because it is dark and the darker the better when at a high iso , because high iso is more sensitive to light then it would be if it was at a lower iso.

the lower the iso is the less sensitive it it to the light.

the higher the iso the more sensitive the light is to your camera.
